Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Teeter Trades website (the “Site”) or purchasing any product listed on it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site or place an order. These Terms apply to all visitors, buyers, and any other users of the Site.

All products offered on Teeter Trades are physical collectible trading card game items, including graded slabs, sealed product, and individual singles. We make every effort to accurately represent each item’s condition, grade, and authenticity; however, inherent variation in grading standards between third-party grading companies (PSA, BGS, CGC, etc.) means descriptions are informational and not a guarantee of future value.

Product images are representative of the actual item being sold. Minor photographic colour variation due to display calibration does not constitute a defect or misrepresentation.

We reserve the right to update, remove, or modify any listing at any time prior to a confirmed purchase without notice.

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase; a binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order and process payment. Prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties, or import fees, which remain the buyer’s responsibility.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Teeter Trades does not store or have access to your full payment card details at any time. By completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe’s Consumer Terms.

Once a Stripe Checkout session is initiated, stock is reserved for 30 minutes. If payment is not completed within that window the order is automatically cancelled and stock is released.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to the following circumstances:

• The Site, payment processor, or inventory system is compromised by a security incident, hack, or fraudulent activity that may have affected pricing, stock counts, or order integrity.
• A product was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, technical fault, or data corruption.
• A product is found to be unavailable, lost, or damaged prior to shipment despite showing as in-stock at the time of purchase.
• We have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith conduct in connection with the order.
• Fulfilment is prevented by circumstances outside our control (see Section 9 — Force Majeure).

In the event of a cancellation initiated by us, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method. We will contact you via the email address provided at checkout within 5 business days.

We ship to the countries listed at checkout. Estimated delivery times are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Teeter Trades is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance, carrier disruptions, or incorrect addresses provided by the buyer.

All items are carefully packed using appropriate protective materials for collectibles (rigid card sleeves, top-loaders, bubble wrap, rigid mailers, or boxes as appropriate to the item). Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once the package is handed to the carrier.

International buyers are solely responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by their country.

We stand behind our packaging, but shipping damage does occasionally occur. If you receive an item that is:

• visibly damaged due to transit (crushed packaging, broken slab case, etc.), or
• materially different from what was described or shown in the listing,

you must contact us at support@teetertrades.com within 7 days of delivery with:

• your order number,
• clear photographs of the damage or discrepancy, and
• a brief description of the issue.

We will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue — options may include a partial refund, full refund, or replacement where one is available. Claims submitted after the 7-day window cannot be honoured.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on items that are accurately described and arrive in the stated condition. All sales are final outside of the above damage and misrepresentation policy.

Every graded slab sold through Teeter Trades carries a valid certification number from the stated third-party grading company (PSA, BGS, CGC, etc.). We do not knowingly sell counterfeit, tampered, or re-holdered items. If you have reason to believe an item is not authentic, contact us and we will cooperate fully with any grading company verification process.

The Teeter Trades name, logo, and all original site content (copy, layout, design, photography) are the property of Teeter Trades and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent. Pokémon, and all associated names and imagery, are trademarks of Nintendo / Creatures Inc. / GAME FREAK inc. Teeter Trades is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.

Teeter Trades shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, government action, carrier strikes, pandemics, or widespread infrastructure outages. We will notify affected customers and issue full refunds if fulfilment cannot be completed within a reasonable time.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Teeter Trades shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of investment value arising from your use of the Site or any product purchased. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the item in question.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Site you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or placement of an order after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where Teeter Trades operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
